Tenants Fees & Charges

When you have found a suitable property, you will be required to complete a referencing application and fees will be payable.

All prospective tenants will be required to complete an application form and all lettings are subject to satisfactory references being obtained through a professional Credit Agency. A fee of £75 plus VAT is payable at the time of referencing for each application and is non-refundable.

You will also need to pay a non-refundable fee of £150 to hold the property for you. This fee allows a 14 day period during which marketing of the property is suspended whilst references are processed. This fee is non-refundable should your application be unsuccessful but will be deducted from the monies due upon commencement of your tenancy for a successful application.

On commencement of the tenancy you will be responsible for paying the following in advance.

The first month’s rent

Deposit equating to 1 month’s rent plus £100 – unless a higher deposit has been agreed.

Preparation of the tenancy agreement £150 plus VAT although this fee could vary if prepared by the Landlords Solicitor.
